In class, we will be utilizing research based protocols from Yoga for Osteoporosis (Loren Fishman, MD), to encourage Bone strength. This class will offer a balanced practice to Improve Posture, Balance, Flexibility, A Strong Core, and more to sustain and encourage healthy aging.

Centering & Warm-up
Set the tone for your week with a fresh perspective. Begin by bringing awareness to your breath and body, gently warming up the muscles, and creating a calm and focused mind. Start your week off powerfully with your commitment to being the strongest version of yourself
Research-Proven Postures
This class focuses on yoga postures proven by research to strengthen bones and muscles. Through these targeted practices, we'll not only support skeletal health but also foster balance, flexibility, and overall well-being, promoting a sense of calm and inner peace.
Modifications & Support
In the class series, Jordana will offer adaptations and suggestions for bodies that need some special attention or gentle encouragement. This is a safe and supportive space where all levels are welcome. Modifications and variations will be offered throughout the class, ensuring that each pose can be adapted to suit your individual needs and abilities.
Cool Down & Integration
It’s a fabulous community of virtual friends who support and encourage each other. As we wind down with gentle stretches and relaxation techniques, allow the benefits of the practice to integrate into your mind, body, and spirit.

About Jordana
My unique journey includes 3 decades of experience as a Yoga teacher, Health & Life coach and a massage therapist. I have become a keen observer of how the body, movement and emotions all interconnect. We store everything in our bodies from stress and trauma to joy.
My heart is filled with gratitude to my many teachers and mentors, including every client and student I have ever worked with, as they have all been my teachers. I am humbled and blessed to have had the experience of working with veterans at the Walter Reed Army Navy Medical Center where I witnessed the power of Yoga Nidra to help alleviate chronic and acute pain, PTSD, and severe insomnia to help reset the nervous system! This experience inspired me to become a certified iRest® Yoga Nidra teacher.
Additionally, I had the pleasure of working as a Yoga Therapist on a (now published) study utilizing yoga for lower back pain for veterans - it works!
I'm passionate about helping people activate their inner superpowers, transform their lifestyle, and age powerfully. My mission is to guide individuals willing to become the most powerful version of themselves.
My approach combines deep body wisdom, movement expertise, and a commitment to helping clients unlock their potential for resilient, vibrant living.

YOGA TEACHER LIABILITY STUDENT WAIVER AGREEMENT
I understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher. I acknowledge that I alone am responsible for monitoring my physical discomfort and shall stop any postures that are painful. I will continue to breathe smoothly.
Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice yoga, and if I have any medical conditions that might affect my abilities, I shall inform the instructor and provide any medical clearance from my doctor if requested by the instructor. I understand that I may not be able to participate in this class if I am not able to provide such clearances.
